چکیده

Adsorption heat storage is the most feasible technology for heating decarbonization, which can store large quantities of waste and renewable an exceptionally long time. However, utilizing adsorption in geographical locations with sub-zero ambient conditions challenging. Therefore, this paper experimentally investigates use ethanol as a working fluid paired silica gel utilizes source. The characteristics, charging/discharging cyclic performance, energy conversion performance via exergy analysis were determined under realistic operating benchmarked against widely investigated gel/water. Ethanol adsorbate was successfully utilized to employ evaporators conditions. Silica gel/ethanol showed significant net uptake, twice that physical characteristics molecules led degree non-desorbed fluid, hampered such potential 18.08 kJ/kgads evaporator temperature 24.84 above-zero compared 155.12 temperature. On other hand, fastest rate shorten cycle time by 45%. major contributor destruction transferred charging heat, five times discharging due high

Simulation of the Silica Gel-Water Adsorption Chillers

A mathematical model describing the behaviors of current commercialized silica gel-water adsorption chillers is presented in this study. Comparing with the previous study, this model comprises (i) a realistic representation of the thermal mass of the associated piping materials and fins; (ii) a distributed modeling of the reactor bed for the sorption processes. The model is demonstrated on a tw...

Experimental Investigation on Adsorption and Regeneration Behavior of Silica Gel Powder by using Solar Powered Desiccant Coated Heat Exchanger

The desiccant material is a material which has ability to remove moisture from air. According to the physical and chemical properties, there are two types of desiccant material namely solid desiccant material and liquid desiccant material. In this experimental study, solid desiccant material is used. Solid desiccant material adsorbs moisture from air due to water vapour pressure difference. Som...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Performance Analysis of a Double-effect Adsorption Refrigeration Cycle with a Silica Gel/Water Working Pair

A numerical investigation of the double-effect adsorption refrigeration cycle is examined in this manuscript. The proposed cycle is based on the cascading adsorption cycle, where condensation heat that is produced in the top cycle is utilized as the driving heat source for the bottom cycle. The results show that the double-effect cycle produces a higher coefficient of performance (COP) as compa...
